quartz dust is a bi-product from mining quartz crystals. The quartz fiber is a material much like other wires such as copper cable, gold cable, and others like it, except it is using quartz dust and instead of rubber it uses glass, and is not to be confused with glass fibre cable, which has a similar crafting recipe, and the item looks similar too.
