Mystcraft is a mod inspired by the Myst game series. It allows players to create and travel to new dimensions, as well as the vanilla dimensions included in the game. Players do this by creating Linking Books.

NOTE: Mystcraft 0.10x will make most of your old Mystcraft ages unstable to at least have a bad effect. So be warned. I used the /myst-agebook [dimID] command to give me a new copy of old age book. It seems the reason for unstable old ages might just be that the biome controller comes before biome list.

Known Bugs

There is a bug when sending entities through Mystcraft Portals. It is fixed in a later MinecraftForge version, but until the mod packs update there is a fix described on the official forums: http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/mystcraft-item-crash.5920/#post-71976
Rei's Minimap waypoints in mystcraft dimensions can sometimes be lost when logging out and back into Minecraft

Tips

When going into your mystcraft age, always bring a linking book which is set to the overworld and if you don't, you'll be stuck in your age forever (as of 0.10.x, star fissures spawn in some ages, which will immediately teleport you to the overworld. Also libraries appear in every age as a way to make a book to an age with star fissures).
If you want your world to be forever day you will also need a normal sun as well as zero length and noon.
