The MFSU, also known as MFS Unit or Multi-Functional Storage Unit, is a third tier device for storing IndustrialCraft 2 EU power. If you're using the GregTech mod, such as with the Mindcrack or Ultimate packs, then the next tier of energy storage is the Adjustable Energy Storage Unit (AESU) or the multiblock Lapotronic Energy Storage Unit (LESU).
INPUT: 512 EU/t maximum power per power generator source from any of its 5 input faces. Any higher input will cause it to explode - an HV Transformer is necessary for EV power sources (those higher than 512 eu/t).
OUTPUT: Emits 512 EU/t (HV) from its output face (the face with the dot).
An MV Transformer is necessary if you don't want to destroy machines that accept a maximum of 128 EU/t (MV). It needs to be transformed through both an MV Transformer and an LV Transformer for machines with a maximum input of 32 EU/t (LV).
The face with the dot is the output and the other five faces are inputs. You can change the facing of the dot by clicking on the block with an IndustrialCraft wrench or an OmniWrench. To pick up the MFSU with either of these, right-click on the dot. Shift+right-clicking any side will turn the dot to the opposite side.
