|Intricate Circuit Board|
The Intricate Circuit Board (Formerly Large Circuit Board) is an item from the Forestry Mod. It is used to upgrade Electrical Engines to their highest potential (table below) when Electron Tubes are added with the Soldering Iron. This circuit board holds 4 electron tubes.
To add tubes to a Circuit Board, hold a Soldering Iron and right-click towards the sky or any block which is not a machine or inventory. A menu will appear with slots for tubes on the left and a circuit board slot on the right. Place the tubes in the slots on the left first, then the circuit board in the slot on the right. Once the circuit board has been placed in the slot on the right, it will have the effects for the respective tube applied to it. The effects for each tube on a Circuit Board (which can then affect an Electrical Engine, as well as a few other engines/machines) are listed below.
|Type of tube||Effect (Max stack)||Change in input EU||Change in output MJ|
|Copper||Choke(1)||-2 EU/t||-1 MJ/t|
|Tin||Boost I(2)||+7 EU/t||+2 MJ/t|
|Bronze||Boost II(2)||+15 EU/t||+4MJ/t|
|Iron||Efficiency(1)||-1 EU/t||No change|
Providing that there is enough space on the Circuit Board, each effect can be applied more than one time up to its (Max stack) For example, if Bronze Electron Tubes are placed in two slots on a Circuit Board is added, Boost II will be applied twice letting the effect stack. However, this is limited by the Circuit Board's capacity; a Circuit Board can only hold one tube, a Enhanced Circuit Board can hold two tubes, a Refined Circuit Board can hold three tubes, and a Intricate Circuit Board can hold up to four tubes, although there are many othe prerequisites that go along with this, as some tubes may only be used a certain amount of times, even though the Intricate circuit board can hold four tubes. For example, you are unable to put four bronze tubes onto one circuit board. In order to max out the MJ, the user needs 2 bronze and 2 tin tubes.
