Forestry is a Minecraft mod made by Sengir which adds new items, machines, and ores to the game, many of which are used in farming. Forestry also adds bees, beekeeping, and bee breeding. It was designed for compatibility with IndustrialCraft and Buildcraft, and many of its machines require power from BuildCraft compatible engines. Said machines can also take input and provide output of items with BuildCraft pipes.

Farms and PlantationsEdit

All farms and harvesters run on Buildcraft energy (MJ). It is advised to connect them to Buildcraft or Forestry Engines by using Buildcraft Conductive Pipes or Thermal Expansion Redstone Energy Conduits .

Warning: Farms and harvesters will pull every available MJ out of the connected network, regardless of their need for energy, so directly connecting farms or harvesters to your MJ power plant or storage is NOT advised.
