Amber is a material created by Thaumcraft 3. It is the product of breaking Amber Bearing Stone. The primary use of Amber is as a researching ingredient, but it can also be used in NPC Villager trades. Amber can be put into a Magic Energy Converter to get 3,000 EU per piece of which is useful if you have lots left over from a quarry. It can be made into Amber Block by combining 4 amber in a crafting grid. Amber will have many more uses in the future, but for now these are its only uses.
