Ambrosia is an end-game food item added by Forestry that restores 16 Hunger Points (8 Drumsticks). Consuming ambrosia yeilds forty seconds of Regeneration I. Unlike mushroom stew and other food items crafted with container items, you do not get your Wax Capsule back after consuming ambrosia.

Ambrosia requires a large number of items that can only be obtained from bees. Such as Royal Jelly, Honeydew, and Wax Capsules. Because of this a decent bee infastructure is required to make ambrosia.
